Our name, Stagira, pays homage to the ancient town in Greece, renowned as the birthplace of Aristotle. Aristotle's ground-breaking insights into adaptive thinking serve as our guiding inspiration. He was among the first to recognise the pivotal role of adaptability in navigating complexities.

Bob has deep experience consulting for Boards and is a sought-after Executive Coach to CEOs and Senior Executives. Bob is a recognised expert as one of Australia’s leading experts on organisational culture and is a regular speaker and media contributor on this topic
Prior to Stagira, Bob gained experience at Ford, Bristol Myers (now Bristol Myers Squibb), and Grand Metropolitan (now Diageo) before his ground-breaking work on culture change at Lion over 20 years - recognised as one of the most successful Australasian case studies in cultural transformation leading to sustained business success.

Sean has been a director and founder of Stagira Consulting since 2017. During this time, Sean has gained deep consulting experience across a range of sectors, including consumer products, financial services, technology, mining, private equity, veterinary, and human health care.
Sean brings deep expertise across the full spectrum of People & Culture strategy and practice, along with high levels of energy in delivering outstanding business results
Prior to this, Stagira led the HR function across numerous companies and sectors. This included consumer products experience gained at Rothmans, Lion & Unilever.
Sean’s experience also includes financial services (AMP Society), energy (Alinta Energy), and construction sectors (Barclay Mowlem). Sean has over 20 years of experience leading the HR function.
